05 f150 stock head unit question

does the stock single cd 05 f150 player have pre-outs in the back for external amps?

no, but you can get a Line Output Converter, and splice that into your speaker wires, and that will work

You can find line converters at Crutchfield. Or, you can get an amp with speaker level inputs and just tap off of the speakers.
