Please help. want stock 6 in dash changer w/mp3 for 1999 f150

I have spent hours and hours looking though this forum tyring to find which HU to buy. I have written down over a dozen model numbers but am still a bit unclear. Here is what I want to put into my 99 Lightning.

6-in dash changer
MP3 player

I don't want to have to add any new speakers, amps, or anything special. I just want a stock looking player.

If you could recomend something and if needed the wiring harness I would need I would be very appreciative.

Thank you very much...
-Ryan

Thanks, I've been to both of those places too, but I don't know WHAT to buy. There are a million little part numbers out there. Do you have a list of all the radios that have 6cd changer and MP3?

Does anyone have a way or some key to decipher what the numbers on the end of the ford models mean? (ie -aa, bc, dd)

I put a factory in dash 6 disk changer into both my 99 and 02 F-150 XLTs. I am unsure of the part numbers, but any of the 6 disk changers from the F250/350s will fit. One thing to note about the 99 through 02s...You will have to cut a small bracket in the radio opening for the changer to fit. The bracket is plastic at the top of the opening, and has no effect once cut. ALSO...Ford changed the wiring harnesses in 99 so you HAVE to have a 99 or newer HU in order for it to just plug and play.
