Dpx 701

I just got my DPX 701. I'm pretty excited to get it installed.

I'll post pics once it's in.

Cool. Another Kenwoodie! Lemme know how you like it. I'm not sure I'm adjusting well. I miss my Alpine setup. If you buy the PAC SWI-ALP for it, lemme know, I can give you some pointers on how to wire it up. It works pretty good.

I've decided to put mine up on Ebay.. I'm not happy with it. I can't use my iRiver MP3 player with it, says: "N/A Device" Can't use this new External USB HDD I just bought for 150 bucks because it says: "No Music Data" so for the main reason I bought it: the USB port, it's tit-worthelss. Not happy with the steering control feature either... there's a delay between the push of the button and the deck reacting of like 1 whole second, and even worse, if you hold the button down, it zips up the volume to almost max in that same second. Go figure. Whatever... I'm done with Kenwood forever. This will be the last time they burn me, I should have learned my lesson the first time. I hope you guys have better luck with yours.

I installed the DPX701 in my truck yesterday. So far it works great! Took some finess with a dremel to get it in my dash but it was worth it. Now I am just waiting for my Sirius tuner I got on ebay for 40 bucks.
Thanks again Don for your fast shipping.

Great Norm! I'm glad you like it! I'm almost finished with my amp rack. I got my sub running, now I just need to save up some money to buy my components. I'd take pictures and post them, but it just started raining... I'll just post them when I'm done. I screwed up and drilled the holes on the front of the rack wrong, so I need to re-cut the front piece.
