steering wheel controls

I have an 06 lariat now--used to have 04 --on this one I have the audiophile with sirius the problem is on the steering wheel controls when I hit seek it seekd through the stations rather than just going to my next preset --does anyone know if this is just a change or some setting I can change somehow. also I was wondering if anyone has ran a dvd player and the sat radio --they wont let you from the factory--only one aux button I guess but I didnt know if they make an aftermarket harness that allows it hell I could give up one set of presets for sat --they give you 3. thanks for anyone who can help --btw now its 06smokestone and tan 20s

Mines an 05 and does the same thing, when I told them it was not working right they said thats how it is supposed to work...

My 03 explorer had a mem button on the wheel ad it went to the next mem setting. My new 06 screw does not, it has the seek and it seeks to the next station just as you describe. I don't like it but it does seem to be working as designed.

yeah I dont get it I know my 04 went to the next preset its just silly how the manual says it goes to the next preset or stong signal ---silly design I guess
