99 Supercrew stereo help

Hi, I am absolutely car audio illiterate and am hoping some of you tech gurus can help me out here. I have recently bought a 1999 F-150 Supercrew XL and need to get the factory stereo out and a new one in. My wife needs both a CD player and a cassete player because she sings at churches via both media. I have been looking at head units on the net that are "double din". Will that fit my truck? If someone could recommend a decent unit (<$200) and install kit, I would really appreciate it.

There is a Sanyo on Crutchfield that is a cassette and cd in one that is a single din... for like $269 I think.... And I believe they'll give you the dash kit and wiring harness with it...

Here's the link.

Hope that helps. There are double dins out there too, but usually run more $$.

EDIT : Here's one for under $200...

Thanks! I looked at the Sanyo and it seems to be what I need.

Just keep in mind that the ford trucks don't use double din, they use 1 1/2 din. But a single din will fit with a mounting kit.

^What he said. Its actually a little bigger than a 1.5 DIN, but smaller than a Double DIN. On the 03 and down F150's you need to do a little trimming to get a Double DIN to fit, but it can be done. Many people have done it.
