Two HU Help

I have a 2006 F150 and I wanna get a alpine HU and get a flip out LCD DVD player above it. Do I have to make a custom holder for both HU's? Or could i just buy the Alpine and stick it in them put the DVD player above it. Ive seen people stick two differnt HU's in the new body styles so I know it can be done, but how?

Crutchfields sells a Metra two din kit. I had one in my truck. Read the directions carefully. I thought they had left out a part at first.

Also, you will need maybe six small bolts, short ones, to bolt into the units to hold them to the monitor. They must be very short.
Putting two single din units in is easy, but looks 'busy'.
Monitor needs to be on top or when you pop it out you can not access the head unit.

That is the coin holder. I just took a spare belt clip, put a black allen bolt through it into a hole I drilled in the usless coin holder.
About ten minutes work. It functions/looks great. I can charge it while driving and don't have to dig in my pocket or dump the phone in the drink holder.
