Alpine IVA-W200 double din is out!!!!

That's right...I guess they have been released! A couple of them are on Ebay and I've seen one for sale on another Forum and on Craigslist. Crutchfield still does not have them listed yet.

The ones on Ebay are going for more then m.r.s.p., I think I'll wait. I also need to see one to determine if I like it more than my D310 first anyway.

That is a nice HU, but for about 1/2 the cost you could go with this JVC:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-6pfa3WQ...06&i=257AVX706

I know Alpine is better than JVC, but I haven't had any problems with my JVC and it plays GigaMP3, which alpine does not.

I like the integrating processing feature w/ Alpine and the H701. Hard to beat IMO!

No crossover though. Why put a 50wx4 amp in it with no crossover?

I tend to like the JVC better because of price and gigamp3, but the Alpine is nice too..

I just installed my first one saturday and already hate it. All of my jigs for the eclipse dash kits will not work with the nose piece of the alpine. And since I have to hand build dash kits for all the new cars this will kill my setup time. Sorry brypink2 just had to vent, 1 for the dash kit thing and 2 for having to go in on a saturday to do it. Other than that it looks nice. The docking station for the blackbird is not available yet though.

It's all good. The Metra ISO double din kit works perfect. You just have to drill 2 extra holes in the side brackets to allow for the W200 to lean back a bit in the face plate. Then it fits flush! EASY!

EDIT: I just realized the installs probably weren't '04-'06 F150. LOL

Yeah it was in an 07 toyota rav4 new dash no kits available, I just finished a jig for the new camrys too. The hardest dash to do is a lexus rx330
