Question 05 Expedition Navigation will fit my 05 f150

I know the connectors in the back are a bit different, but I guess my question is, If it is possible to get this done and if it is worth it......

has anyone tried this?

thanks in advance...........

No and no. The Expedition/Navigator navigation setup is hardwired into the vehicle's SCP network. You'll need the navigation module that contains the DVD along with the head unit. The navigation module has a gyroscope built into it to monitor vehicle pitch and yaw. The voice activation system is hard wired into the SCP network as well and is built into the rear view mirror. The navigation module requires an input from the ABS module for a vehicle speed signal and a reverse input from the MLP to determine vehicle direction changes. The system is a lot more complicated than most people think.

and also, the size of the Nav unit and 6 CD unit are different all together, I have a 05 Expy and F150, both with audiophile and bought a unit on ebay and it didn't fit into either car, even though Ford call that it would. Just too dam big.
