IPOD not recognized by alpine HU

Im just checking so see if anyone has recently ran the Ipod updater(October 12th 05 version) and had problems with their Alpine head unit recognizing it afterwards. For some reason, it's happening to me. Anyone?

Everything is fine with mine, 3rd gen 30gb. Although still need to reboot it after disconnecting to get backlight and remote volume to work. I've given up hope either will ever get addressed by Apple, much less Alpine. Have you made sure all connections are good, rebooting the ipod or connecting it when the ipod has a good charge. Maybe try a search at ilounge.

Issue was due to a loose Ai-Net cable.
