will a 2005 Ford Freestyle CD6 fit a F-150?

the unit looks similar but im not sure if it has the metal screw harness on it can anyone tell me if the below unit will fit before i bid? thanks

I have been looking at the exact same unit for my 05 SCrew and wondering the same as you. I have seen the freestyle units sell for much less than the f-150 labeled heads. I would think you could change the bracket from your existing radio and put it on the new/freestyle radio.
If you do end up getting it, post back here if it works.

Freestyles use different vehicle communication protocols than the F150 does; the radio illumination is run off the SCP network in a Freestyle, I believe in an F150 it's pulse width generated internally from the radio. A Freestyle radio may not light up in your F150, won't know 'till you try it. For ease though, I'd stick with an F150 head unit.
