question: audiophile 6cd mp3 changer

I have an 05 Lariat that has the 6 disc MP3 changer. When I use a disc that has folders, the display doesn't show the folder name, just like D3 or D4 or something like that. Just curious if it's a limitation on the player or if my software is not buring this right

Mine has done that on certain discs. I don't know if it was corrupt or what. Also you should check your audiophile because I believe it gives you the option for folder or for title. It does have alot of features. It has not done that for a while. Try burning a disc on another computer or using a different software and see how that goes. Maybe it doesn't recognize the data and just assigns it that value D3 or D4. I get a few errors on mine or it doesn't recognize a file once in a while, But i'm saving up for a double din system. Good luck

I checked it out again this morning and it shows "D# F# T#" disc folder track, but instead of showing the track number i want to show the folder name, I sort all my albums by folder and short of listening to the first song I don't know what's what. I've tried different software, same deal, not tried different discs yet. I use nero mainly, any other recommendations?

I wish I could be of more help, I sort my songs individually, artist-song.not by folder. I use cakewalk pyro. It seems like it's not understanding the info. If you're truck is still under warranty they should swap it out at the dealer. Hope they take care of you.Good luck.

me thinks it is a burning issue, just as when I buy CD's some of the titles will appear on the radio, very few, but some do.
