I'm looking for something thats factory size that way i dont have that ugly car kit filling in the big gap from a smaller head unit. Anyone know of a good double din head unit?

I don't think there are any half decent double-din units out there in the after market. Now as for single DIN, I have the Alpine CDA-9851 with the Ipod and XM attachments... and it is pretty awesome. If you find the right installer, you can get them to center the HU in the empty space leftover from your OEM unit and put a matching plastic piece to cover the leftover spaces... rather then a completely useless "crap" holder which most places put under a single din radio.
I've seen some people who get this done, and I'm fixing to get that done when I get my amp and subs installed.

Even double din head units will need a kit to fill the gap. I do not think anyone makes a unit large enough to totally replace the factory unit. But, a double din with a kit really looks good. Almost like it belongs there.
Kenwood has always made good double din head units(, use to own two myself). There are a couple of others that are made but, hard to find. Alpine used to make one, not sure if they still do and so did Clarion. Do a search on ebay for " double din". That should show you what's out there.
You really need to get some video of your unit working, change the soundtracks, show how quick the nav works, the different features, the keg, go to reverse cam, etc. If I saw that I'd be sold
good looking stuff TXF, but to pricey for me at the moment since im doing other mods as well...... catch was correct as there are no decent double din head units anymore. I did find one on ebay that was a Sony xpload, But..... their selling the 2 out of Hong kong
