DDX7017-compatible DVD changer?

I am interested in getting a dvd changer for my kenwood ddx7017. My question is which dvd changers are compatible with this headunit? Can I use any brand or does it have to be a kenwood one? The only one I can find from kenwood is the 10 disc and I would like to try to get it cheaper (the 10 disc is $699). So if anyone can make any recomendations that would work with the 7017, I would greatly appreciate it.

There are several that will work. What you will have to find is a changer that is universal. Basically, the changer will hook to the aux. input of your Kenwood. They will come with a remote wired eye that you mount in the dash area. And then, you can work it with the changers remote control. The Kenwood would just be the monitor and audio. It will not control a changer other than the Kenwood changer.

thanks for the reply. Let me make sure I got it right: so only the kenwood changer will allow me to control it via the interface built into the 7017 and any other brands I would have to use a seperate remote control, correct? Well that sucks. Does kenwood offer any changers other than the 10 disc? Like maybe a 5 disc or something?
