I was wondering if anybody has input on a Pyle in dash dvd with moterized lcd screen. I don't have a model # but you see many under $200 on ebay and other internet sites? Some may only be the moniter but has anyone bought this name brand before, they seem too good to be true ,just wondering if there junk? I don't want to spend $1000+ Just wondering if some has put together a nice system at a descent price, Thanks

I've got a Clarion DVD head unit with a motorized 7" screen. I love it, my brother has a Jensen, it works nicely too. I wouldn't use a Pyle one, I can't see it lasting too long.
I too have been looking at this stuff and almost went with a pyle. I just bought from Ebay a in dash dvd/mp3/stereo unit and a in dash 7inch monitor/TV tuner.... they are both innovatek (basically Hitachi)... thru ebay i paid $86 bucks for the brand spankin new dvd/mp3/stereo unit (model#392) and paid $40 dollars for the in dash monitor (model #704).. yes thats right $40 bucks... the guy couldnt get it to work.. i took a chance and was able to fix it..i have with shipping and all less than 170 bucks (one had high shipping from out of country) invested and everything works perfect and have all the remotes/manuals/boxes etc etc ....
THE problem is the hole in the radio bezel in my 99F150 is lacking 1/2 inch on height so im looking into custom modding the bezel to get them both to fit...
if i was you i wouldnt go with the pyle just because they seem cheap to me, i went to circuit city the other day and walked by the audio section and this jensen vm9510 caught my eye it was the clearest picture even out of the pioneers and all the other higher price ones i was talkin to the guy and he said that the jensen is the best for the money because it comes with a tv tuner so that you can actually watch tv in your car or truck and not jsut a dvd, it also came with the ant. its a 7inch and its all compact together so you dont have to have your dvd player under the seat adn the brain under your other seat its all together. i found one on ebay for 499.00 plus like 50 for shippin so i ordered it and waitin for it to come in so i will let you kno how it works
