What can I do to get the most power out of my supercharger?

I have an 07 HD saleen supercharged truck. It's WAY too slow especially after driving my brothers 335i with an ECU chip that pushes 450 horses!!! I love my truck but I know I would love it a lot more if all 450 horses in the supercharger went straight to the wheel. Any help? Thanks!

i dont know what kind of chip he's got but its a miracle if he found 450 hp...

bone stock 335i twin turbo:
"We obtained the sportiest version of the 3 Series, a 2007 335i Sedan with a twin-turbocharged, 300-hp 3.0-liter inline-6."---info taken from edmonds and car and driver.

i saw found one stock that dyno'd 287 rwhp, they guessed it was about 340 at crank...impressive for a inline six...but nowhere near 450.

you have a truck, you can make it quick for a truck, but do not try to compete with cars and still have it reliable as a daily...this thing has atleast 1000 lbs more that he is pushing, he also has a six speed auto or stick...you want to beat him it would be cheaper to get a zx14...your looking at upwards of 15k just to get near him.

several have done tunes with jdm and are impressed, other have done rear end swaps also which helps alot....

the site is dead here for harley performance....do you know about www.nhtoc.com (national harley truck owners club), if not go there, they are alot more into performance

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not trying to compete with his car, I just want a faster one if you know what I mean. He has the V3 processor chip for his car and he's added downpipes and cats and a bunch of other stuff so his car is FLYING! 0-60 in the mid-3s. I would go to JDM but he's giving me a price quote of $4000+ for 100HP to the rear wheel. I'm pretty sure I can find cheaper things that will give me the same amount of power. I have never checked out that site, but I am sure I will be using it very frequently. Thanks again!

whipple, i/c, and good tune will bump you up in that area...

one guys with a sts turbo set up single turbo, i/c harley with 7 lbs of boost get 378 rwhp and 468 rwtq....

is that mid 3's 0-60 a g-tech unit numbers or real track #'s on the bmw???...all wheel drive lambos with 700 hp and less weight cant do this....i think he is talking a bit more an not backing it up

yes since you have the saleen package its hard to tell you to start back over from scratch with a new boost system, but he (jdm) is about the only game in town for these saleen s/c's on the 3v trucks...i think the intake he has for this is about 1 grand.....and he wants close to 2 grand for a pulley, intake, belt and xcal tune....that 2 grand on top of the $6500 ford and saleen hit you for...thats $8500...like i said, to have $8500 and pick what you want to start with (you are almost stuck with the saleen s/c) could be better, but you do have a warranty to go with the truck when you get it from saleen...

the guys on the other site with the big hp/tq #'s are the generation 2 trucks with the L or lightning based motors, in addition to that they have had over 7years of companys to make parts for these trucks/motors, the oldest gen lll truck with saleen charger is maybe 1.5 years old
