New 07 Harley Thrust Bearing Failure

Hey everyone i just joined the 150 forum, i bought a new 07 harley/saleen last week on the 21st in Daytona Beach Fl, drove home to N.C.about a 585 mile trip. Got up the next day and went to town to get oil for oil change and when i pulled in the driveway the truck started knocking and the engine light came on, I cut truck off checked the oil it was still full, restarted truck and no knock so i drove to Auto Zone and they scanned it and showed a camshaft sensor was bad. On the 25th i took to local Ford dealer and and the scanned it and it showed camshaft / thrust bearing code. To make a long story short the motor has to be replaced with only 720 miles on speedo and 5 days old. They won't even consider replacing the truck.... so i will start the buy-back process. So much for Ford standing behind there product and customers

Don't know, but member "WaxDaddy" had a "major" engine failure with his Harley Saleen equipped F150. Do a search on him in this (HD) forum and see if your problem was related. I hope this is not the sign of a trend. I have a '07 Harley without the supercharger. Damn dude. - Og
