There is a black 2001 ford Harley Davidson truck for sale at a trusted dealership. It has 70k miles. They are asking $18,000. I have been looking at getting a 04-08 Ford F150, but i like that harley davidson trucks. The truck is real nice inside & out. My question is should I get it or is that too much $ for that truck. How many miles can I probably put on that truck? If I do get it I will put $5,000 down so the payment wont be so high. What kind of gas will this truck run on regular unleaded or plus or premium?

You should be able to buy the truck for less than $16,000. I bought my 2001 HD last August for $18,300.00 at a local dealer. Mine had 20,917 original miles on it then. I recommend you check the NADA website for the values. You should pay no more than the retail figure for it and should actually be able to get closer to loan value. I just checked for you: even with all options the retail value is $15,825 and wholesale is $14,400. I suggest you start at $14,500 and work up from there slowly. BTW, I love my truck! Just keep in mind, 2001 models are not supercharged.
