SoCal Cruise! Bring your truck or car!

Guys and girls this is to invite you on a road trip that will test you and your Truck or Hot Rod's ability to take curves after curves.

SUN. Sept. 14, 2003 @ 1000 - 1500

This 200+ mi road trip will take you through San Diego's back country best road course it will be more fun than is legally possible.

Will jump off from Poway, California.
(location to be picked)

Leg 1: Hang-on-tight buddy ... it will take you curving down Highland Valley Road, San Vicente Road, Wildcat Canyon Road, Lake Jennings Park Road, Old Highway 80, I-8 East, Sunrise Highway North, to Julian for a 1.5 hr. lunch stop and some apple pie.

Leg 2: Buckel-up guys and girls because we are off again down Julian Road West, to Santa Ysabel, 79 North, Mesa Grande Road, 76 West, East Grade to the Palomar Observatory for a pit stop.

Leg 3: Strap-in-real-tight were are off again this time it's back down Palomar Mountain via the famous South Grade Road, 76 South, Mesa Grande Road (again), 79 South thu Santa Ysabel, 78 South, 67 West thu Ramona, Highland Valley Road (again), back to Poway to our starting jump off point to talk about all the fun we had.

Guys and girls this it your chance to run your truck or car down a road course that will test both you and your vehicle.

Go at your own speed.. on times no pressure!

Their are some curves where you can see your own tail lights ... fun fun fun!

So get off the couch, put a coat of wax on your vehicle and back it out the garage and let see what kind of road racer you both are!

Will have maps / route @ drivers meeting @ 0945.

This will be a fun way to spend the day with fellow Car Enthusiast and talk of things we should and will do next.

Bring a friend to share the fun with! It doesn't even have to be a car, truck (motorcycles are welcome! harley, sport, whatever!) )or even a domestic! Run what you can bring! A day of fun is in the making! We will have a few motorcycles, a Lexus GS400, a couple Mustangs, some trucks and whatever you bring!

OK race fans the road course is all most layed out 200 miles of nothing but curves and more curves. Will have map and driving directions for your navigator.

Bring your cell phone so we can keep in touch with each other.

Will need a full tank of racing fuel.

Racing suit, shoes, gloves and helment are optional, but the better you look the faster you will go.

will be a fun day! You will be in your seat for a few hours, so bring snacks and drinks. Will have lunch in Santa Ysabel at The Apple Country Restaurant.
