ati group buy in houston.. interested?

After briefly emailing with Crash!, it seemed to me that he and skid might be interested in coming to Houston to do an ATI sale and install if the conditions/timing were right...

Are there any others here in houston who might be ready to buy an ATI? Maybe if we got 2 or 3 at the same time, we can make an event out of it and Crash will have a great reason to come down...

Lemme know as I can't get up to dallas until after the middle of may due to traveling and conferences and such... (not to mention the family).

we could even find a place to rent a dyno for a couple of hours or two to tune them...

That sounds like a blast!

We can definitely get a rally together, as long as we have time to work...

First and foremost, we need to get approval from Steve to do this group purchase. If you are all are seriously interested, we need to go about this the right way. I am happy to work with Steve on this. Next, if this group purchase is approved for posting on this board, it does NOT have to be limited to Texas members. For those in Texas, I will need to know, as the purchase process will vary, however, pricing will not.

We do perform installations at a competitive rate. Also, many already know, but we do offer purchasing members tuning, technical, and installation support at no-charge (many choose to install the kits themselves). In addition, not including transportation cost, we also warrant the labor on installations we perform at no charge. We stand behind our work.

June is best, as the kits are custom built when the order is placed. I have one member flying me to California for an ATI install as well as a Ford event in mid May. We can make appointments as necessary.

Brotherdave (Vortech owners)-

I am certain you know how we feel about the Vortech. My main concern is the oiling system. We do not sell the Vortech for this sole reason.

We have done the Vortech installations, so we are familiar with them. If you decide to have us install the kit, we need all to understand no labor warranty is expressed or implied on Vortech installations. Support would be provided on a best effort basis.

Crash!,

You what? No, I did not know.

You mean, your low prices for your superchargers also include free installation!?!! and you warrant the free installation!?!
D***! That is the best supercharger deal on the planet!

I just keep screwing up! ha!

i hadn't really thought about a group buy for anyone, anywhere, but I guess that is cool, too as UPS does in fact ship everywhere. I was more hoping we could get a group purchase and/or install if someone already had an ATI or Magnacharger. Then we tune em all at once on the dyno. I suspect each member would be more than happy to help the process along to speed each vehicle and learn a great deal about their trucks in the process.

For the record, I would be more than happy to provide you a ticket to Houston, Crash, or, at least adjust the install price to support your time on the road down and back again...

I do want it to be worthwhile for you, Crash, so let's get at least 2 or 3 solid buyers together...

I may be intersted in a group buy. Just depends on what kind of cost we are talking about. I sure don't want to blow somethnig on my engine or tranny. That would be bad.

Red face

Red-

You have the right idea.

We offer installation SUPPORT at no charge (Most do the installs themselves)! Many like Sporkdevil can't make it here, and we understand that. We can help you install your own kits if you choose to do so.

NO, installation is not free, but the rate is competitive.

Crash!,

Sorry.

I guess I was thinking that because your prices are so low, it is like getting the installation for free, even if you pay to have the supercharger installed.

I am essentially ready anytime after the middle of May. I can send a deposit for the unit or any amount Crash feels fair to make the trip... I can pre-purchase the unit, have it shipped down, and have it waiting, or whatever.

Who else is serious and ready to go by then? If I can't get any more people, then I will just come up to dallas as I don't want to wait too terribly long.

Yes, we need to get the orders placed and the kits shipped. Once I have tracking numbers, we can better schedule an installation.

Thumbs up

well if you're shooting for middle to late may, then I'm definitely game! I won't be able to head out to dallas, but I will certainly be willing to participate in the mass order.

02XLT-

No blown engines here. No pun intended...

SteelClaw-

I was wondering what you were up to. Let's see where this thread goes, and I will get some numbers together.

I need input...

1. When does everyone want this group purchase to close (When is the order to be placed)?

2. Who is not comfortable with performing their own installation?

3. Does anyone want a polished head unit (additional cost)?

Polished tubing is NOT available. All tubing comes from ATI powder coated gray.

If you are located in Canada, we will do the same price at the current exchange rate. Shipping to Canada may be additional. Please contact me by phone as soon as possible for details.
