KC assembly plant could go on strike...

Greetings from Ontario.
I have been lurking for a while but thought I should sign up today.
It's time to trade in my 2005 Expedition. I was going to order a new 2016 F150(never owned a brand new truck)so I can get exactly what I want. Order to delivery suppose to be 14-16 weeks.

Now today I see that the Kansas City Assembly plant probably going to go on strike in 5 days.

Maybe I can get a 2017....

If I was in the market for a new truck right now, I wouldn't even be able to order one -- from what I have read, Ford is not even building regular cab trucks the rest of the year. I'm not remotely interested in Screws or Scabs, so I'd either have to go Dodge or Chevy, or wait until 2016 and hope Ford had their production issues resolved by then.

I was wanting a Supercrew XLT 6.5ft box with heavy payload. I stand to be corrected but from what I have read, the heavy payload package is built at the KC plant.
