Drone flyers

Anyone here have a drone and loves to fly them? Just ordered mine and got it in.

I got the DJI Phantom 3. It's really easy to fly. Can fly it up t 1/2 a mile away. Still trying out the video on it and will upload some as soon as I figure out how to.

The demos for it look impressive but $1,259? Yikes!

I have a question. Are the pictures/video on the drone veiwable while it is flying in real time through another device or do you have to download it later?

After seeing your pictures it just occured to me that it might be real handy scouting the fields during deer season.

Yes it is. You download a app on your phone or tablet and link up to its wifi.

Well that is pretty sweet then. I thought the whole drone thing was cool but never really about getting one. I may have to look into one of these now. Thanks!

My oldest grandson is wanting to get one real bad for his 15th birthday in 9 more days.

I found the Phanton 3 Standard was best for me. Camera comes with it. Easy to fly. Even my 8 year old can fly it.

Amazing! Will it still hold it's position at that altitude? I though the software in them didn't allow them to go over 400 ft?
