1st Bigfoot?
How about an original 1930 Model A modded back in 1936 to have tractor tires so it could go thru snow. Several were made per article for mail delivery.
Here's the entire article. At the bottom is the Ebay listing. Might wanna look at the listing. At the bottom of the Ebay listing it has a linky for vids of this car actually running and driving. The tires you see are original tires as of 1936.

The Yahoo article says the rear axle was changed out to a 1 ton truck axle. The Ebay listing shows the axle was from a 1 ton of 1919 to 1927 era. The axles used back then were a worm and gear type. The final axle standard axle ratio according to my owners manuals says 7.25:1. Top speed on a 1 ton Ford was 24 mph but recommended top speed was 20 mph, per the manual. Not bad for a 4 banger rated at 20 HP.
