MGDfan... Now that's a list!! though it doesn't have some of the ones already listed.

I'll work on getting all that incorporated with what we have in just a little while
I notice that even that list is incomplete.... I don't see IAC... but I'll get it in there

No wonder not many have seen it. It is buried in the Powertrain & Mechanical > V8 Engines section and dates back to 2004. It needs to be out in the open.... Like 'Technical' or a sticky.... idk

Edit: As of 3:15 Eastern both lists have been combined. The first post has been updated. All of the ones on Our list was not in the other... except... WOT. Take a gander. I still come up with a few. Will give this another day or two, then I will ask Rockpick to move it into plain sight. Thanks for all the help from Everyone .. .. cheers

Not new ones, but amplifications and corrections:

ttt = to the top.
Difference between AOD and AXOD = X is for transaxle. Front wheel drive.
HEGO = heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor.
ECM = engine control module.

New ones:

DOHC = dual overhead cams (SOHC = single)
DPFE = Differential Pressure Feedback EGR sensor
2V, 3V, 4V = 2, 3, or 4 valves (per cylinder)

I always referred to the ECM as Electronic, not Engine. hmmmm. Will add the others, thnx

Yeah, the list is getting pretty long and should be out in the public. I'll contact Rockpick

Added a few others that should be 'givens' but who knows. FI wasn't in there
