finally finishing my dominos table.

Well i built a dominos table last spring for tailgating and chilifest etc. i made it portable so the legs are removable etc and ive had it painted and being used for the longest time. i finally decided to finish it off this sunday.

covered the top in old snuff lids and then added parks super glaze epoxy resin to seal it up. turned out pretty good imo but i need some more resin to fill the gaps between the cans and make it completely level

heres some pics and i plan on making a new table this summer to be our kitchen table and doing something on the top like this one.

cope straight i use to chew about 2-3 cans a day, but these last couple weeks been trying to quite, done pretty good only one can this week so far , but my buddies girlfriend is doing that same thing, she is making a coffe table for it and it will turn out to be pretty cool i think, the only thing different she is doing is popping the middle out of the lid so it isn't so high and doesn't need to use so much resign... but none the less bud it looks cool.... hope you don't make it a buisness or you will have mouth cancer in a year keeping up with demand.....

Dominoes would be cool. I like the idea behind the table and you did a great job I'm just not sure I'd want it as my kitchen table, more like a den or game room type thing but then I'm really picky. Hey for a kitchen table, why not go to the thrift stores and get a bunch of used silverware or something like that to put in the resin?

ha yea those had been saved up for a while and ive pretty much quit. just finishing off the last can i have. i really like the stuff but i plan to use us composites kleer kote for the next one since its cheaper and i can get it in larger amounts. also id use bottle caps for future ones. those will be in supply constantly

I did the same thing in college with beer caps. We made the woodstock logo (bird on the end of the guitar) and it turned out amazing. Until I moved out and by roomates trashed it. I still havent forgiven them......
