One time, I felt the same way and just decided to see what I could get away with before I got fired. Wrong move. Possibly the worst career mistake of my life. So many applications since then have asked for their number for a reference, and so many have said "Did you give a two-weeks' notice when you left?" If you check no, then you're screwed.
Sage Advice: ALWAYS take the high road. When you grow up you'll feel much better about yourself than any short-term joy you might derive from going out in what you percieve to be a "blaze of glory".......
Don't let everyone give you a hard time. You're just in a position we WISHED we could be in. If you have the opportunity to do it in front of people, call them out on their bullstick! No one will follow you. But they will admire you. Just be truthful and don't make false accusations.

just quit, or dont show up outside of your available schedule
I've done this. I called in everytime though and told them I wasn't coming in. I was fired.
Put yourself in your next potential employers shoes. Would you hire yourself based on things you've done in your past? Be honest with yourself, though. You're not doing yourself any favors otherwise. That said, I think if someone sent me a singing telegram to tell me they quit I'd get a pretty good laugh out of it. I'd never hire you again or give you a good reference but I'd have a decent story to tell people.
Fart in every vehicle you inspect as you work your final two weeks. That way, customers will say that companies service stinks. I don't think you can get fired for farting.
I wouldn't burn a bridge. Many companies require past work history and often call to ask about your work ethic. They don't talk about the things you did when you first started, just the stuff they remember before you left. I doubt they will say, "he sure did fart a lot."
So, eat a lot of nasty things that upset your stomach, for two weeks straight, and that should be plenty fun.
don't be impetuous and throw away what could actually be a good thing in the future..... I assume you have very little work experience and when you graduate high school/college, ANY type of work experience that you could list is going to be a plus... regardless of what the job is.... it will demonstrate character and a strong work ethic.. any type of edge like this will help you regardless of whether you're applying for an internship or entry level job in the future...
Do yourself a favor and resign with proper notice professionally. Ask and get a reference letter for future use - if the mgr is your friend, this shouldn't be too difficult....
Hope your judgement in school is better than this....
