I agree with Patrick, and with the pictures posted above, I'd start pulling stuff off Alex. That part of te frame won't be able to be fixed without cutting it off and such. I'm sorry, but it doesn't look good. Maybe start searching for another oxford white 98? Or maybe upgrade.
I'm hoping for the best though.

you better get your frame checked, with a receiver on there you are adding strength to the back 2' of frame, which creates a weak spot right over the axle where the hitch stops
Dude its gone man, go get your stuff off of it while you still can.
The truck is very much repairable, I'd consider doing a frame swap on it and rebuild, I'd settle get the check for as much as you can and repair it yourself, and drop a frame on it. Who knows you might get lucky and find a frame that has a V8 stuck on it.
Find a frame and a plane ticket and ill come help swap stuff over
you dont even need a whole new frame. you could cut that section off of another frame and weld it onto yours. or you could just cut the frame off about a foot behind the cab and make a custom rear half set up for bags
The back section of the frame is seperate, cab back, its riveted together where the hangers are, so its a good excuse to do drop hangers while you have the truck torn apart, and maybe even notch it.
you wont really be torching or welding the frame, its literally like a big lego frame
Where it is bent, doesn't even matter! It's behind the rear axle.
It can easily be straightened.
were you dropped on your head as a baby? the frame is bent directly over the axle where the front of the hitch is. And you can't straighten that much, you can straighten a slight warp or slight wave in the frame, but once its creased like that its done.
well my dad seems to agree they are going to try and total it once he saw those pictures.
so, were going to give this a fight to the grave! a little background info, my dad used to be a laywer in New York before I was a twinkle in his eye, not to mention hes dealt with insurance companies MANY times before (my previous accident, sisters accident, and hes lost a few of his own over the years too).
anyways were trying to see if we can get the dudes insurance to cut is a check for <$5,000 or more, AND keep the truck and let us worry about the damages. we know that they are going to claim its only worth 3K, but the truck has a 55K engine, 13K on the trannie, and BRAND NEW rubbers all around.
basically if all goes according to plan, they give us the $5K and let us keep the truck, we are going to privately get the frame dealt with. whether it be a slight straighten (see reason below) or doing a cut and swap. we would like to do a straighten as if this happens, we would spend (insert amount here) on the straightening, and put the rest as a down-payment on a new 2008 Mazda and retire the truck back to its weekend-warrior status.
still no word from the claims adjuster. im going to his shop tomorrow to see whats up. if i cant get it tomorrow, im going to Tallahassee Ford because I know they will do one right then and there!

yup thats exactly what my dad did when my sister totaled her 04 heritage earlier this yr. sad no to the first offer and ended up with about 7K for a regular cab 2wd.
