My first ride was a 64 Ford Galaxie 500 XLT Fastback that I would almost kill to still have today. Had bucket seats, front and rear stereo, automatic on floor with flow-thru console. Damn what a ride! Wrecked it in 1971 when some kids thought they were being cute by baracading a neighborhood street with discarded Christmas trees.
Afer that there have been a myriad of vehicles including not necessarily in order and years may be off a bit...
•a 63 Rambler coupe
•a 66 Rambler station wagon
•a 72 Camaro
•a 70's Buick Regal
•a 71 Ford Pinto
•a 70's (I think) Chrysler Cordoba - no Corinthian leather though
•a 81 Camaro
•a 86 Ford F150
•a 87 Ford T-bird (wife's car)
•a 88 5.0 Ford Mustang GT (another one I'd like back)
•a Li'l Red Dodge PU
•a 91 Ford E350 Van
•a 94 Ford Explorer
•a 96 GMC Yukon
•a 03 Ford Expedition
and my current ride a 06 F150 Lariat 4x4. I've been driving since I was 16 so that's 40 years of driving and that equals a different vehicle every 2.5 years. Geeez...

I've had nothing but Fords since 1974 with one exception. I couldn't find a replacement Ranger when the area got hammered with hail and my Ranger suffered $6,000.00 in damages. I found a real good looking 2000 Dakota SLT+ extended cab. It was two tone, beige over silver, tire and wheel package, loaded with every option. They gave me $10,000 trade in on my beat up Ranger that had 60,000 miles on it and I got to keep my insurance check. What a deal! What a POS it was. In less than a year, 3 tires blew out and not a tire dealership in Texas had any that would fit the truck. The transmission fell out of it. The shifter quit working, the brakes went bad ( I drive almost all hiway), the exhaust had to be replaced, the ball joints were loose, and the final blow came when the POS laid down on me in the middle of Nowhere, Texas and no cell phone available in 110F heat. Still in warranty, it took them 8 hours to come get it on a wrecker and then they kept it 2 weeks. The PCM crapped out and they could not find another one. They ended up putting an after market performance unit in it and when I picked it up, I drove straight to a friends Ford dealership and handed him the keys. It only had 32,000 miles on it. Unless Ford REALLY screws up bad, I'll never own anything else.

i got about 3/4 of the way done restoring a Candy Apple Red '69 F100 SCSB 240 inline 6 4x4
that was such a sharp looking truck, only drove it like twice.
But it needed a full resto and i ran out of money and needed to have a vehicle, so i had to sell it and buy my f1fiddy
worst part was the guy i sold it to said he was gonna bag and body drop it...WTF?!?
