Do You Guys Still Wear Wrist Watches?
I have noticed that many of my students do not wear watches anymore---they rely, instead, on their cell phone (which, during school, they are not allowed to have with them.)
I myself, cannot get by without a watch...during football season I always had a "good" Timex Ironman to time games, play clock, etc, and my wife got me a really nice Seiko Chronograph this year for Christmas.
Do you guys still use them---or do you rely on your cells,as well?

Watches are one of my several obsessions. A friend claims I can match dial colors with almost any shirt I wear. I've got em in blue, yellow, orange, red and silver. And big. I won't buy anything less than a 45mm case - bigger is better right?! Invicta is a favorite brand - they make some nice big watches that are priced reasonable.
But I do carry a cell phone and use it to set the watches - cell phones use GPS time so they're an accurate source.

Nope, no watch. I have a nice Bulova that was given to me as a gift a few years ago and it sits in a shoe box on a shelf in the closet. Everywhere I go, there's some kind of time keeping device so I don't feel compelled to wear a watch. My smart phone keeps all my meetings and alerts me 15 minutes prior. I feel wearing a watch would be redundant.

I have several watches and seldom wear one. I won't wear any type of watch, ring, chain etc at work is the main reason and once I'm home I just look at a clock or my computer if I want to know the time. In my truck I have a clock on my radio. I will wear one occassionaly when fishing but usually just rely on my phone.
