Let's start over......
I know our local Lowe's store has started carrying the transponder keys -- not sure about Wal-Mart. Historically, I have just bought the blanks on ebay, had Wal-Mart cut them, and then programmed them myself at home.

To get an original the dealer or you have to program it there's even some locksmith shop that can offer the dealer service too
That's what GM uses for their programming? Seems weird compared to Ford, which uses a "multiple cycle-on-cycle-off" procedure.....
Morning, boys! Talked to a guy this morning about replacing my roof. Had a wind and hail event come through last summer, so most of the cost will be covered by insurance. My house is sitting at 14 years old, so the roof was coming up on the end of its service life down here in the heat of Texas anyways, so the timing of that hail storm couldn't have been more perfect......

I always laugh at the people who tout a home as a great investment. That might have been true for past generations, but by the time I figure in all the money I have spent on normal maintenance over the last 14 years I'd be fortunate to break even on mine. My only upside right now is that I live in a part of the Houston area that is on the verge of exploding with new highways and development, so that might finally give me some decent appreciation on this thing.

Ha!
Paid bills, played with the dog, cleaned up the house. Now I'm gonna grab some Doritos and spend the rest of the day watching Peaky Blinders
Doing my taxes sometime next week, which means you should be seeing a post about me using a portion of it for some stupid irresponsible purchase sometime in the near future. I'm thinking some Bilstein 5100s might show up at my door. Or maybe a Yeti
