Does that kit have an antenna that you have to mount by the rear view mirror?

No, I don't have remote start. I doubt I could learn to operate one. Took me forever to get used to not having a push button to start.

No thats the Extended Range ford oem start that has the antenna above the mirror.. I thought about getting that one but it comes with a remote.. So you will have the ignition key then a separate remote. I just wanted it all in one on the key.

I thought your truck may have it, If i remember on the 13s the models that had the reverse sensors on the bumper and the reverse camera came with remote start..

Was just wondering how good the range actually was

It may be on the Lariat up but not on the XLT for 2014.

That's what I thought but just wanted to be sure. I kept seeing conflicting pictures when googleing part numbers. Thanks. I'd prefer to not have the extra fob too. Had one like that on my old truck and I hated carrying it.

The key is big enough by itself, i could only imagine having a remote hanging off it. Geez

I have reverse sensors and backup camera on my '13. No remote start. Only the 3 standard buttons on the fob.

Just from personal experience....oem ford remote start system suck as far as range goes....even the extended range sucks if it's compared to the aftermarket remote start kits....

Mine can be started over a mile a way and the remote has a indicator as to weather or not it's been started....there's no oem out there that comes close to it....
