10,400. It was the first 2000 off the truck at the South Fort Worth dealer. Ordered it in Aug, 1999.

Wow -- I understand the sentiment about passing it along to your grandson and all, but it's really kind of a shame if that vehicle falls into the hands of someone who is going to burn it up with daily service. I have a soft spot in my heart for oddball cars that end-up being low-mileage time capsules and shudder to think about some high school kid rolling that thing through the muck and the mud to reach his fishing hole.......

I'd be inclined to sell the thing to someone who wants to keep it up and use the money to buy him something else that's more appropriate for what he needs a vehicle for......

She seems to like the Mercedes and I'm toying with the idea of fixing the damage and she drive it. It just rolled 106k. But then again it's had the head gasket problem and running off that bars leak head gasket fix stuff since last April. Hate to put a money in repairing that and they head gasket blows again.

Just sucks, so many nice ford models and scared to buy any of em with the 3.5. Good thing about it is she keeps vehicles for a long time so if I find a 50 or 60k mile vehicle it'll last her 10 or 15 years easy with the few miles she drives
Odd to hear that the 3.5 issues are that prevalent. I reached out to my cousin who is a Ford tech and he thinks that it's a pretty rare occurrence. Very small sample, but no issues in the family and two of them are '08's with more than 200k miles on them.

But, you need to be happy with the purchase of course, it's your money.

Although, you did buy an ecoboost F150 and they are just riddled with issues

So far we have found em in the Taurus, edge, explorer aND flex which are 4 main vehicles that we like from ford. Really not wanting to go new cause she drives 8 miles a day to and from work. I just don't see paying the extra for a brand new vehicle.

I also have noticed about every 3.5 vehicle that's sitting at the dealerships have right at 60k give or take, it's like people know about the issue and trading em off right before or after warranty ends

After all day searching I only found one edge with the 2.0 eb and they were at the 19,500 mark and not budging.

Also found another Taurus limited 2013 model, I'd hate to have bought that one new. It was 38k and 4 years later they are selling it for 13500. That's a hell of a hit on a 4 year old car!
Does she have any interest in a Grand Marquis? I'll trade you straight up for that red truck.

I'm not kidding.

Up in Oklahoma doing some gambling. Only down 20 bucks since 8am this morning.

Think i tore my BOV diaphram on the way up here. Got in a little race with a mustang on i20 between Cisco and Ranger. 30 miles of running the snot out of it and Still managed over 17 mpg and got a thumbs up from the mustang owner. Sounds like its dumping air all the time with my foot on the gas.

The winning bidder on that 12,000-mile eBay Cavalier must have wigged out on the seller -- it was re-listed last night, only now it has a "Buy It Now" price of $5800.00, which was the winning bid on the original listing.

Looks to be a pretty clean truck for its age, although I don't think I'd refer to 129,000 miles as "low mileage".....

I like the '69 Impala in front of it as well.....
