Only thing I know about guns is how to shoot them. But it looks pretty cool.

I'm buying my first handgun this week. Looking at the ruger SR9. Anyone have one or any feedback on this? Seems like a relyable gun.

I just picked up a Springfield XD-40 Subcompact last week. I shot it for the first time 2 days ago. I love it. I put about 100 rds through it without a problem. Very accurate with a natural point of aim. My Glock 23 just got moved to #2.

I have both the xd-45 and the 9mm, both service with the 4" barrel. Had the Glock, but the grip angle did not fit me right and my dad has the XD-9 and it was downhill from there.

Like the custom...thinking about sending the 45 to springer for a tune up....just don't know if I want to part with it for that long.

As said above porting will reduce recoil. Polishing is done to all contact surfaces to reduce friction. This will give a smoother trigger pull and better slide action. It can make a huge difference, even in quality weapons.

Check this out, easy to install, you will need to install an overtravel screw though. My trigger now fires in less than .25" and resets in .05"
