Prayers again!
We got a call today that a friends 14 year old daughter has cancer in her lymphnoids (sp?)
Wife is on the phone with them now, don't know what the expected outcome might be. Doctors are contacting other doctors trying to find someone to take care of it. Closest doctors that are able to deal with it is 3 hours away, next closest if they won't take her is in Tennessee.
At this time they don't know if it's treatable, what the treatments might be, don't really know anything. Just a waiting game at this time.

Yes she is very young, to young to have to be dealing with this.
Although she is doing better than her parents are.
Right now they suspect that it is in stage 2, because she now has 2 knots, both on the same side, and they are about 2" in diameter.
Really won't know any more until they find a clinic somewhere/anywhere that is willing to even look at her.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers guys, they are a very religious family, I am sure that they will very much appreciate knowing prayers are coming from all over the country and beyond for them. Maybe it'll help their spirits too. I plan to let them know first thing in the morning that the prayers are coming in. Hey who knows, he drives a F150, maybe I can get him in here and posting updates.

14, how awful
Her and her family are in my prayers
They will feel our prayers, I've experienced this first hand, I was in awe of the power of prayer for the first time ever in my life. My son was in the hospital for some tests several years ago they told me they might have to keep him all night. He had a tear in the lining of his lung that was allowing air to escape and put pressure on his heart, very scary. I was so upset and worried...My husband was out of town and my family all lived hundreds of miles away (we were in Alaska at the time). I had to go home to let my dog out and before heading back to the hospital I called some very dear friends in Cordova. They are a very religious family and Jared said he'd have his dad start the prayer chain at the church...it was amazing...it was like I could feel all those people praying for me and my son. He ended up not having to stay the night, it healed on it's own and he was back to his bratty self a few days later. I've never experienced anything like it, it was like a sudden calm just took over. Believe or not as you will but you'll never convince me that prayer doesn't work!
