draino-crystal + gas tank = BOOM!

has nebody heard of puttin draino crystal in someones gas tank?? my dad was tell me that if u put draino crystal n the gas tank (with gas in the tank) and some kinda reaction goes on and with in 10 mins.... BOOM! gas tank blows and truck is up in flames... just wonderin if it could happen and how...


i just hope i dont get ripped on for this like BlackedoutFord did for "mess with the cops!!"

Go try it in a sealed 2L bottle, see if she blows up. Get some video too.

i planned on doin that... i just poored some gas on pavement then the drano and stepped back... there was a lil flare up... but i only have bout half cup of gas... so now i gotta wait til i get some more... prolly tonight

send the question to mythbusters. They already did a bunch of myths like that, and the sugar one does make the engine shut off..
