ah you put one too many [ in front of the first 'url'
you have to get the URL of a certain image, though, if you only want the image to appear in a thread, not the link on the page it is on. So the link would have to end in '.jpg' or '.gif' etc..
I don't get it....I have tried it 5 different ways and I cannot preview to see if it's right....
I am active on 10 other boards and this is the only one I cannot figure out. Drives me crazy.
Are you using Guided Mode or Enhanced Mode?
Does it matter?
Am i using the wrong link?
I keep it in Guided Mode. Whenever you find an image you want to post in a thread, isolate the image by opening it in its own window. Then, COPY the URL of the image (ending in .jpg, etc) and then PASTE that URL inside [img] [/img]. Or click on the little mountain photo at the top when replying to a thread, and just paste the URL inside there.

Ok, now that I see the script I get it.
And I consider myself a techie...pffft.
Alternate method if you already have the pic posted somehwere else that allows hot linking, is to right click on the picture, click on properties, and copy the url address of the pic from there, paste it here with the [img] tags.
