2016 F150 to a 2017 F250
Just traded my 2016 F150 XLT 3.5 Eco 4x4 with max tow for a 2017 F250 Lariat 4x4 6.2l gasser. Purchased a bit more travel trailer than anticipated and needed the extra payload. Did not go with the diesel due to up front cost and quite a bit less on the payload due to the weight of the engine.

The ride in the 2016 F150 was superb. It had "P" rated tires so it was smooth. The 2017 F250 rides like a truck. Unloaded it is a bit stiff although not bad. It seems to be getting smoother as it wears in. The wife doesn't mind it if that's an indicator. The neighbor said he could definitely take it on a long trip. It has the off road suspension and 20" "E" rated tires. When loaded it rides great. Not having owned an HD before, I like it.

That's going to be really tight. Maybe with 18" tires. I have an 8' door. I was wondering how close I was when I first brought it home but there is plenty of room.

What do you think of your F250 now that you had it a while, and what are you getting for MPG?
I'm contemplating stepping into a 250 myself, never having had a Diesel, not the 6.2L. From what i've read, the 6.2 loves gas. The 5L in my 2012 F150 gets 16.4 average, and I'm definitely not hard on it. Only reason i'm thinking of the 250 is it's looks. Dont need it for towing/payload and is overkill for my usage. I love it though.
