2011 F250 Caliper Hanging Up- Advance Trac
My father has a 2011 F250 Extended Cab FX4 with the 6.2L with 13,000 miles
He's had issues, twice before, with an advance trac warning light and front driver caliper hanging up with the light on. Both times were a break in the rear pass wheel speed sensor wire.
I was using his truck pulling my car trailer over the weekend and felt it pull to the left. I assumed it was the trailer brakes sticking as it hasn't been used in the last 2 years and a large bump would free it up and then drive straight.
I stopped 2 times in 10 miles to check the brakes on the trailer and none were hotter than the rest.
It was fine the rest of the trip with no more hanging. When I got to where I was going, I noticed the brake dust on the front driver's wheel.
The advance trac light never came on.
Anyone else had issues like this?
