F-350 steering issue

Ok so my adventure last week was when i was on my way to the mechanic w/ my plow and i went to turn left and heard SNAP! That was the bolts to the steering gear box. I guess i was missing 1 and one was already broken according to my mechanic and the weight of the plow snapped the last one, leaving me w/ no steering on the side of the road and also bursting both power steering hoses. So my question is, I got everything fixed and now the steering is really stiff in the truck. If i turn the wheel to the right or left it doesnt return to back straight. I checked the power steering fluid and its full. Any ideas?

The new steering box is too tight. There is an adjustment screw on it. Loosen it too much, and you'll have a bunch of play in the wheel.

Yes. Loosen it a turn. It's the screw on top of the box all by itself. You'll need a end wrench and an allen wrench.
