Wheel polishing

I have an '07 CC F350 Lariat Dually.

What are ya'll using to polish these wheels?

I tried using an alum. wheel polish, but did not seem to do anything... are these wheels coated? Need to be polished with wax?

Most of the aluminum wheels that come from the factory have a clear coat on them and just need to be washed and waxed with a synthetic was like Meg's NXT 2.0.
