But the poor guy at the smog shop was trying to figure out what the electrical extension cord was for next to the radiator. I had to smile and tell him it is for the block heater. He had no Idea what a block heater was for. Not many of them in the San Diego area.
Even though he is working in California... he should still know what it is. I would not get any repairs done there.
