From the looks of that sheet there will be no more FX4's. And the 6.4 will stay. Looks like I will be waiting another year or two and ripping of some stickers in the future!!!. But the manuals stay, but no six speed in the auto!@#% I'm a ford guy but this sucks!!!!

It looks like they deleted the FX4 as a trim line, but maybe thay changed it back to the way it used to be when it was a package you could add to any trim line...

It looks like FX4 is no longer its own model. The FX4 will be an optional package for the XL, XLT and Lariat. Didn't Ford do something like that in the past? This makes sense so more people over various trim levels can get the FX4 package. The King Ranch, no longer its own model, is an optional package for the Lariat. Lastly, they are pushing the Cabellas, making it its own model.

Edit: Freeky beat me to it.

Page 11. The XLT is getting an optional leather interior. Is this new? I know they don't have that option on the F-150.

Edit: I guess it is new as it was listed under the major changes. Duh.

Yup, just like my '02. Peeled the stickers, changed the shocks, but kept the "skid plate".

Notice just "branded" shocks. On the ole 7.3 era, they were just the stock Ford units with different boots.

If the ones on mine are really Rancho shocks, they are definitely the crappiest shocks that Rancho makes. They are total pieces of junk. They are starting to rust around the welds on the shock tubes, which is very noticeable since the shocks are white. I will be replacing mine soon with some Bilsteins.

I personally think that the V10 is a better option than the Scorpion anyway.
