I hope someone can share the same problem here......

I have a 2003 F350 work truck and the digital odometer turned all 8's at about 30K miles. Of course I didn't get the "Premium" Ford extended warranty on this truck like I have on others.....just the "standard" 5/75 which I obviously still paid extra for. Ford says it's not covered and therefore $850 for a new one installed.

I am a Ford fan through and through but this kind of crap is testing me heavily. I feel something like this should be their problem forever. Any advice for me? I searched but didn't find anything.

Can anybody tell me of another Super Duty forum where I may be able to get some info about this issue? Unless I am a single very unlucky F350 owner, I'm thinking this problem must exist elsewhere.

 

Is it showing all 8s now, or is the not lit at all?

 

It shows all 8's all the time (when the key is on).
