99 Expedition 5.4 L water leak at rear of intake NOT THE INLET TUBE.
I have a water leak at a strange connection on intake manifold at rear passenger side. It has 3 connections. Water in, water out, and vacuum?? It is attached to the side of the intake just above 3 and 4 cylinder coil packs. It' s not threaded in. Looks like a push in type, but will I break it pulling it out? The elbow bend was leaking and hose size is less than 1/4 inch.

99 Expedition water leak

After wasting 9 hours of my life that I wont get back. I finally figured out that this is an add on option that is attached to the intake elbow for cold climate trucks. I live in Florida, so I did not know. But I have to order a new elbow without this option and bypass the hoses by connecting them together with a plastic tube. Leak is now stopped until I can get new part in.
