grill and bumper swap question

can u put a 00 bumper and grill on a 98? my main reason for the swap is to get rid of the chrome but while im at it the 00 style doesnt have the fangs and looks smoother.

You will need to swap both the grille and the bumper at the same time, otherwise you'll have an issue with either not enough space for the grille or a gap between the bumper and the grille, depending on if you swap just the 00 grille or just the 99 bumper.

Hmm I was looking at my LMC book and it seems the 00-up bumper has different brackets?

Yeah you need the brackets to correspond with the bumper.
