Question Which color this time?

I'm getting ready to pick up a new 01 Expy E.B but can't decide on the Laser Red or the Wedgewood Blue. The red is gorgeous but I've noticed in the last month alot more on the streets. The blue seems to be the least popular in the E.B. and consequently I've never seen one in person. If anyone has a 01 in the Wedgewood please post it. And if you're wondering why I said this time it's because my first Laser Red E.B was stolen.

If you want something different, try the new premier package option number 474.

Here is the description taken from Edmunds.

Eddie Bauer Premier Group/4x4
Front and rear all seasons tires with all-season tread, 265 mm tire width, 70% tire profile, S tire rating and outline white letters, Front and rear alloy wheels with 17 inch rim diam, 7.0 inch rim width and partial wheel covers, Leather seat upholstery, Excludes: [67A] Side Airbags/EB, Includes: [43M] Power Moonroof/EB, Requires: [AQ] Arizona Beige Monochromatic Exterior.

This package only comes in monochromatic beige which is not my favorite color, but I have seen a few F150s in the same color scheme and they are very nice looking.

Plus the seats inside have a special sew pattern that looks closer to the seats in the Navigator.

The package is brand new and alot of dealers don't even know about it yet.

Most likely you will need to order it since I doubt if any dealers have this one in stock yet.

I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago and I can't wait for it to show up.

Happy choosing!

Hey call me boring but our last two have been white. After having a black mustang and black superduty I'll tell you it is much easier to take care of especially since my wife drives it. By the way our neighbor has the wedgewood blue and he says it is a pain to take care of. Says it shows scratches real easily. (he is a idiot though).

I have the Laser Red X and I like it.
It has the sport package so it also has the painted bumpers and it has the "Graphite" trim pieces.

I would have preffered the black myself but since the wife was going to be driving it, she decided.

I have seen quite a few of the Laser Red X's since we bought ours, then again I think it is always like that, Before I bought my ZRX1100 I had not seen any of them, now it almost seems like I see one every day!!

I actually see more Blue. It's much more conservative. The red certainly stands out.

Leon, since you have both the moonroof and the rear entertainment system, can you answer a question for me?

My question is when the Expedition has the moonroof installed, part of
the ceiling directly behind where the moonroof is installed is dropped 3
inches or so probably to make room for the motor and other parts to
operate the sunroof. The rear seat entertainment pack also occupies
that same spot and it too is about 3 inches or so tall.

So when they are ordered together is the rear seat entertainment pack
still put in the same spot? Or is it installed to one side?

Thanks in advance,

bhoth.... The rear entertainment system screen is in about the same position (center).. it hangs down a little lower than the non-moonroof Expys due to the lower ceiling height.

We have historically owned red / maroon / burgandy cars and trucks. My wife now has a Med Wedgewood Blue Expy EB and really loves the color. We see more of the "red" than "blue" around Atlanta.
