Pics of lifted Expedition EL?

Hi-

New to the forum. I've got an 09' F150 and an eb explorer (wifes). I'm going to be purchasing an expedition el and would like to add some larger more agreesive tires, and possibly a lift. Nothing to crazy since it's going to be a daily driver.

I would love to see some EL's with a lift and or larger tires. I've searched through the forum without much luck. Any pics and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

Yeah, I've searched the www pretty extensively.... I'm trying to see what I want to do in reference to tire size and amount of lift.

Rancho has the quick lift kit out there. It's a top quality piece, runs under 1 grand for all 4 corners if you shop around, probably 1100 with the hand-held ride control. The kit will allow the expedition to clear 35s on OE rims.

that rize lift won't work on the 2007+ Expy. shame, because that is a sexy beast.

If you are getting a 2wd, you are going to find it very hard to find a lift, if you can at all. I have the 2" Spacer Lift on all four wheels and fit 33's nicely. Might be able to go 34 ish but think I would have problems with 35's. I found recently a 3" spacer style lift which claims 35's would fit. Check out Ready Lift Kits on jackit.com. It says for use on 03-09 4wd/2wd Expeditions.

the 07+ Expy can't swap lift kits with a 03-06 Expy.

they share the same front coil-overs...but that is about it. Ford tweaked the rear IRS a bit and none of the Lift Kit companies have done the necessary changes yet to make a 100% bolt-on kit.

Most likely you could buy a 03-06 Lift Kit, but it's going to require custom fabbing in the IRS
