Lightning wheels on an Expi

I'm considering picking up an 02 Expidition this week. I've owned two lightnings in the past, and am throwing around the idea of eventually dropping a built L motor/tranny into the Expedition in the not-so-near future. I wanted to start w/ a nice drop and some Lightning wheels though. Will they fit right, or will I need to get some sort of spacer??

What drop do you guys recommend to get a good 3'', maybe more, and keep a nice ride and improve handling?

Yes, the L wheels will fit. I'd try to find a 22" replica however.

Why is that? I don't believe there is such a thing as a 22'' replica L wheel. I don't want it to be any slower than it already is either!

on the fronts you will have to install the limiting blocks on the steering so they don't rub.
