Electric Seat issue.

I've just shipped my 05 KR Expy to the UK. (See 'Keep Us Advised' thread in KR forum)
Apart from one small ding on the side step it made the long journey in fine condition except for one niggling problem.
The drivers electric seat controls all work except for forward and rear control. The motor starts to whirr then immediately cuts out before any movement of the seat can start.
Has anyone any idea what may be going on ?
Thanks in advance.

when i bought my expy on ebay, the seat wouldnt move back and forth. i ordered all the parts needed per a tsb for this issue, and the day it was to be repaired, a fat tech got in it, and pulled it into the shop, and it has worked fine since. been almost 2 years. try finding a heavyweight and see if it works!!!!

driver seat

I had the same problem, would not move forward or back. I took the control off the side then I looked under the back of the front seat. I found 3 wires that had been cut. I wired them back together now nothing works. Even my mirrors won't adjust. Guess I should have got a fat guy to sit in it. I guess I messed something up. I changed the fuse but it was fine. Still trying to figure it out.
