A little window help?

I was hoping someone could help me out. I have my F150 and an 05 Expedition and I've taken the panel off the f150 before and with a little improv I removed the expys as well.

The problem is the drivers side front window stopped working. Thinking it was the motor I went to Ford and got a new one, replaced it, but now it only goes down not up. I really dont think it's the new motor but I could be wrong. Any of you expy owners had this problem before or could you shed a little light on this for me? Thanks in advance.

Mike

That happened to me with my 98 Expy, the widow switch got wet and the switch went bad. After i put a new one in it worked fine.

you can test the motor with a batter and two wires. Hook them up one way, it goes up and reverse it goes down. If that works the motor is fine. The switch is your next place to look, and most likely your culprit
