New Expy Owner

After 14 months of dealing with a defective F150, the BBB and Ford, I want to introduce myself as a new owner of a Black 2006 Limited Expedition 4x4. I guess this board will be my new home, instead of the '04-'06 board. I learned a lot of neat tips and tricks over there, and I'm sure this board will be the same. I'm going to take at least a few pics of it tonight and post.

Here are the first 2 pics. I'll have to take many more and complete my gallery this weekend.

Thanks. First on the list is tinting the front windows. I hope to find someone that can match the front's to the back. It's not legal in TN, but oh well. Then upgrade the standard crappy Ford floormats to some Catch-Alls. From there it may be an Xcal-2 or some better speakers all the way around. The stock audiophile doesn't sound too bad, but I'd bet some good speakers would make it better. If this thing will fit in my garage I'll have to add the Homelink also.

Ford's floormats have always been a joke. I bought a set of heavy duty rubber floormats from Wal Mart to replace mine. They are 100 times better than the cheap OEM mats.

I agree. For the price of these vehicles, what's an extra bill for some decent mats?

Do you guys get different mats than us on the west coast or something? I've liked the floor mats in our last two Expys as well as the ones in our current Navi.

Just what is wrong with them? Are they wearing out or something.

My biggest complaint with the mats is the coverage area. Especially the driver's side. The mats themselves look to be made fairly well.

Love the limited paint. Wish the EB came in all black, I'm not a huge fan of the pueblo gold. Congrats.
